Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine (IUF)
The IUF was founded in 2001 and has become a member of the Leibniz Association (WGL) in January 2011 because of the high quality and supra-regional importance of its research. The IUF’s main objective is the analysis and evaluation of risks to human health that result from environmental factors including ambient particulate matter and MNM, in order to improve health care and to develop more preventive and therapeutic strategies.
