University Paris Diderot, Unité de Biologie Fonctionnelle et Adaptative (UPD-BFA)
The Unit of Functional and Adaptive Biology (BFA, head: J.M. Dupret) is one of four Research Units present on the Paris Rive Gauche Campus of the University Paris Diderot and is associated to CNRS (EAC 4413). It is composed of 7 research teams involved in the development of an innovative functional biology research centre to better understand the biological mechanisms underlying human adaptation to environmental and/or internal (endocrine, metabolic or genic) perturbations. The Molecular and Cell Responses to Xenobiotics Team involved in nanOxiMet has a long-standing history in the toxicology of inhaled particles.
